Revolutionary technology designed to meet the challenging environment we live in
The Real represents the latest generation of Oticon's Brain-Hearing technology, created to help individuals navigate all of life's rich and complex sounds--not simply speech--to the fullest.
Powered by Oticon's most powerful to date Polaris R platform, the Real includes a new SuddenSound Stabilizer algorithm that simultaneously adapts amplification of both soft sounds and loud sudden sounds, which helps to improve speech clarity for the wearer and, at the same time, reduce listening effort.
Please call us today to experience the Real with your RISK-FREE, stress-free demonstration.

Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL), also know as sudden deafness, is an unexplained rapid loss of hearing, which typically occurs in one ear. The loss can happen instantly or over a period of several days.
SSNHL strikes only one person in 5,000 in the U.S. each year, although many cases go undiagnosed, primarily due to a lack of public awareness. Nevertheless, if you believe you or a loved one are experiencing symptoms of SSNHL, please know it is considered a serious medical condition that requires immediate attention by an ear, nose and throat doctor (ENT) or a clinical audiologist because early treatment can possibly save your hearing.

Research has recently shown the correlation between untreated hearing loss and the development of dementia.
At Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, studies have revealed hearing loss may present even greater risk to one's mental health than previously considered. Armed with this new information, it's increasingly important to encourage your friends and loved ones to make more informed and timely decisions about their overall healthcare.
